OREANDA-NEWS. On August 08, 2007 the United Arab Emirates have contracted Ukraine on purchase of six An-74TK-200 planes, Director General of the "Ukraine's Aviation" concern Oleh Shevchenko said, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

Besides, the Kingdom of Catarrh is also interested in acquisition of the planes. Ukraine will hold a presentation in the kingdom shortly.

He also stressed that demand on the An-74 planes exceeds supply.

As many as one An-74t-200 and two An-74t-200 were delivered into Egypt and Libya in 2006, respectively.
