Rostekhnadzor Approved Information System for Nuclear Materials
OREANDA-NEWS. The testing has shown that, despite some remarks, the information provided by the system meets Rostekhnadzor’s standards. Since 2005 Rostekhnadzor has carried out 38 such inspections and all of them have shown that the amount of nuclear materials reported by the system coincides with their real amount, reported the press-centre of Rostekhnadzor.
The key objective of this data base is to collect and analyze information about the presence and the amount of nuclear materials at organizations using such materials for peaceful purposes. Presently, all such organizations annually report to the system on the amount of their nuclear materials.
After receiving the reports Rosatom and Rostekhnadzor experts compare them with the data available in the system so as to see if the reports are objective.
