OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Directors of JSC OGK-5 has considered the candidates proposed by the company’s shareholders to the Board of Directors and Internal Audit Commission of the company. Out of 17 candidates, 11 will be elected to the Board of Directors. 10 candidates were proposed by RAO UES of Russia, 6 candidates - by Enel Investment Holding B.V., one candidate - by Westmead Limited.

There are 7 candidates to the Internal Audit Commission of OGK-5, five of which will be elected members of the Commission. 5 candidates were proposed by RAO UES of Russia; Enel Investment Holding B.V. and Westmead Limited proposed 1 candidate each.

The Board of Directors and Internal Audit Commission of the company will be reelected by OGK-5 shareholders at an Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting, which takes place on August 31, 2007. Moreover, the Board of Directors of JSC OGK-5 approved related-party transactions and considered a number of the company’s internal issues.
