OREANDA-NEWS. Professionalism and team work by operating personal of electric power system is a guarantee of stable and failsafe electric power supply of consumers in Sverdlovsk region. Management of JSC “Sverdlovenergo” pays much attention to preparation of operating personnel and especially to the use of electronic simulator in the process of study. One of the main elements in education process is competition games organized in JSC “Sverdlovenergo”, reported the press-centre of JSC “Sverdlovenergo”.

On 1-10 August there will be organized competitions for the composite gangs in the branch companies of “Sverdlovenergo”. Today there is a check of knowledge for power engineers of Artemovk power networks. Programme of competition includes 3 stages:

On the first stage there will be checked knowledge of engineering instructions, job safety rules and other instructions and rules which are used on the enterprises. They will be checked with the help of special computer programme. On the second stage team should perform routine switching on the electronic simulator. Every team consists of dispatcher, duty operator and electrician. Dispatcher directs activities of the team. To exert the control three computers which are the places of work for participants of the competitions, are clustered so that dispatcher can watch with what operative personal is busy. Success of the team much depends on his ability to control work of duty operator and electrician. On the third stage participants should render first aid to a person who has got electrical current injury whose role is performed by special manikin.
