OREANDA-NEWS. August 3, 2007. JSC Baltic Bulk Terminal (BBT) has summarized the results of the operational activity for the first 6 months of 2007. Since the beginning of the year BBT has been demonstrating high rates of the main production records.

In January-June 2007 the cargo turnover of BBT reached over 2,3 mln tones, which is 40% more than for the same period of 2006 (ca 1,6 mln tones). For the first 6 months of 2007 the terminal has bypassed over 35 thousand hoppers, which is some 50% more than for the same period of 2006 (ca 23 thousand hoppers). In the first half of 2007 BBT has provided shipment of more than 100 sea ships, that is some 40% more than for the same period of 2006 (ca 70 sea ships).
