OREANDA-NEWS. August 3, 2007The exhibition is dedicated to the 170th anniversary of railways in Russia and will be held from August 1 to September 25, 2007 at the State Historical Museum in Moscow.

The opening ceremony was attended by Alexander Misharin, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Transport, Mikhail Shvydkoy, head of the Federal Agency on Culture and Cinematography, Vladimir Yakunin president of Russian Railways, and other officials.

More than 500 exhibits from Russia’s 50 largest federal, regional and rail museums covering the 170-year activity of railways in Russia are on display. TransTeleCom organized the exhibition with support from Russian Railways.
