OREANDA-NEWS. On August 01, 2007 ordinary shares of OAO "Volzhskaya TGC" (additional issues of 15 May 2007) started trading on the MICEX Stock Exchange. The company shares have been included in the MICEX Non-Listed Securities Schedule. Also, Volzhskaya TGC shares have started trading on the RTS Classical and Exchange Markets effective today, reported the press-centre of RAO "UES of Russia".

The establishment of OAO "Volzhskaya TGC" was completed on 1 June 2007 after OAO "Samara Generation Company", OAO "Saratov Generation Company", OAO "Ulyanovsk Generation Company" merged with OAO "Volzhskaya TGC".

OAO "Volzhskaya TGC" is on the list of "second tier" WGCs and TGCs to carry out new share offerings in order to raise funds for the expansion of thermal generation capacity. Volzhskaya TGC is authorized to issue up to 3,859 million new shares, which represents 12,87% of its authorized capital after the offering. The shares will be offered to the general public through "open subscription".
