According to the head of operations with bank metals of VAB Bank, Vladimir Pischaniy, the main difference of investment coins compared to memorial and anniversary coins is that pricing on them depends foremost on the world market price for precious metals.

"Such coins can have a face value, but the value is determined by the value of the clean precious metal as is specified in troy ounces (1 troy ounce is 31.1034807 gr). The mechanism of sale of these coins is not different to that of trading with bars", - Vladimir Pischanyy explains..

"This new financial instrument is proving to be very popular with clients. Taking into account the attractive appearance of the coins, it is possible to say with a confidence that no less than half of all sold coins are used as gifts, which is the same as with bars and have proven to be a successful investment", - Vladimir Pischanyy considers.
