OREANDA-NEWS. On July 24, 2007 ROSNO’s Kirov branch and CJSC Ptitsevod have concluded a crop insurance contract, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insured crop comprises spring cereals and leguminous plants, barley and wheat. The aggregate sown area is about 4,000 ha.

The concluded contract provides protection against the following risks: crop loss or damage leading to crop shortage, caused by agriculturally harmful circumstances occurring within the insured period. The contractual insurance amount is 15,768,192 roubles.

CJSC Ptitsevod specilalizes in agricultural products, as well as biological and agricultural raw materials.
