OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2007. JSC “NC “KazMunayGas” has seen considerable staff changes, which are commented on by Deputy Head of the President’s Office of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”, Serikbek Yelshibekov.

With a view to improve the Company’s organizational structure, considering the best conformity with the strategic objectives and goals, to increase the efficiency of corporate governance, construction of a rational system for work of different personnel levels, efficient adjustment and exercise of the functions for management of the holding company’s assets in JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”, two Vice-Presidents have jointed KMG’s senior management.

To the position of Vice-President-Head of the President’s Staff Ulan Baizhanov has been appointed.

49-years-old Ulan Saparovich Baizhanov has graduated from the Kazakh State University Named after S.Ì. Kirov in the speciality "Jurisprudence". He has worked as Head of the Department of Justice of Almaty, Vice-President of OJSC “Kazakhtelecom”, Vice-Minister of State Revenues of the RoK. He has worked in the system of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas” since January, 2003, as Executive Director for Legal Support of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”, Deputy General Director of CJSC “OOC “KazMunayTeniz”, President of JSC “KazMunayGas Consulting” and Head of the President’s Office of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”.

Today, in JSC “NC “KazMunayGas” the directions of activity have been expanded in the field of human resource management, forming and implementing single principles and standards of developing the human capital assets of the KazMunayGas group of companies, image policy of the group of companies, activation of cooperation between the national company and government agencies and structures. These directions are presently supervised by Head of the President’s Staff and in no small measure impact the efficiency of the company’s activities, its value. Additionally, Vice-President-Head of the President’s Staff shall address the issues of ensuring security of the corporate property and information, exercise supervision of the organizational and control-and-coordination work within the framework of the holding company.

Deputy Head of the President’s Staff of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”, Serikbek Yelshibekov also informed us that, due to the increased role of the transport projects (gas and oil), the need for their diversification, to the new position of Vice-President for Oil & Gas Transportation, Service Projects, and Oil Refining and Petrochemistry Kairgeldy Maksutovich Kabyldin has been appointed.

54-years-old Kairgeldy Maksutovich Kabyldin has graduated from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute (Almaty) in the specialty “system-engineer”. He began his labour activity as a service engineer of section ¹ 3 of the Pavlodar Regional Oil-Pipeline Administration of the “Transsib” Production Association. In subsequent years he worked in different positions in the Ministry of Oil Industry of the USSR, Production Association “Main Oil Pipelines of Kazakhstan and Central Asia”, the Ministry of Energy and Fuel Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 1997 to March, 2002 he worked as Vice-President for Strategic Development of National Oil Transportation Company CJSC “KazTransOil”, First Vice-President of CJSC National Company “Transport of Oil & Gas”, since April, 2003 – Managing Director of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas” for Transport Infrastructure and Service Projects.

A number of appointments of Managing Directors and heads of the subsidiaries have been made.

After transfer of Kairgeldy Kabyldin to the new position, the vacant place of the Managing Director for Oil Transportation has been taken up by Nurlan Yermekovich Sauranbayev, under whose supervision KMG’s subsidiary LLP “Teniz Service” has successfully implemented a number of infrastructure projects.

The well-known in Kazakhstan executive, Daniyar Rustemovich Abulgazin, having in his record a considerable experience of public service and business, has been appointed Managing Director for Corporate Development.

Besides, General Directors of subsidiaries have been appointed: Serik Zhetkergenovich Keulimzhayev – LLP “KazMunayGas – Service”, and Magzum Maratovich Mirzagaliyev – LLP “TenizService”.

Daniyar Rustemovich Abulgazin has graduated from KazNTU Named after Satpayev in the specialty "Economics and Management in the Oil & Gas Industry”, has worked as Vice-Minister of Finance, Vice-Minister – Chairman of the Committee for State Property and Privatization of the MoF of the RoK, Head of the Office, Vice-President of NOC “Kazakhoil”, Deputy General Director of the Caspian Industrial-and-Financial Group, Managing Director for Management of Shares in JVs of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”, has extensive experience of work in public service and oil & gas business.

Nurlan Yermekovich Sauranbayev, Ph.D., has graduated from KazSU Named after Al-Farabi. He has extensive experience in the oil & gas field, has worked in JSC “Atyrau Refinery” in the position of First Vice-President, General Manager for Management of the Project of CJSC NOC “Kazakhoil”, General Director of LLP “TenizService”, which is a subsidiary of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”.

Serik Zhetkergenovich Keulimzhayev has graduated from the South-Kazakhstan State University Named after M.Auezov in the specialty “engineering chemistry of oil, gas and coal”, has a considerable work experience in private business and construction. He has worked in CJSC “KazRosGas”, JSC “Intergas Central Asia” in the position of an Advisor to the Head of the General Director’s Office, Executive Director, Head of the Office of JSC “KazTransGas”.

Magzum Maratovich Mirzagaliyev has graduated from the “Turan” university and the Diplomatic Academy, his specialty is “international economist”. He has undergone a two-year work placement in Kuala-Lumpur (Malaysia) and in Houston (USA), before his appointment he worked in MI Drilling Fluids International (a company engaged in production of drilling mud fluids, disposal and recycling of drilling waste).
