OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2007. Ulyanovsk branch of ROSNO’s Middle-Volga Directorate has concluded a vessel and shipowners’ liability insurance contract with the company Volgaremflot for the total amount of 12 mln. roubles.

Insured under the contract are three MPR 2188 dry cargo vessels (hull insurance) and shipowners’ liability. The following risks are covered: complete vessel loss (including rescue-related expenses), as well as losses and expenses incurred by the insurant in connection with sea pollution or contamination. The abovementioned vessels have been insured for the duration of the single maritime passage from Tiksi Port to Belomorsk Port via the Vilkitsky Strait, to be conducted from 10 August to 10 September 2007.
