On July 27, 2007 at its first meeting, the new Board of Directors* of RAO "UES of Russia" unanimously approved the appointment of Alexander Voloshin** as Board Chairman, and Victor Khristenko, Minister of Industry and Energy of Russia, as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, reported the press-centre of RAO "UES of Russia".

The Board of Directors  of RAO "UES of Russia" also reviewed the report on the activities of the Company's Management Board in Q2 2007 and approved its plan for Q3 2007.
