OREANDA-NEWS. Vladivostok Container Terminal (VCT) throughput increased by 26 per cent to 88,100 TEU from January to June year on year.

Cabotage volumes rose by 6 per cent to 22,500 TEU. VCT import transshippments amounted to 31,200 TEU, which was 33 per cent more than in the same half-year period last year, while exports reached 34,400 TEU, a rise of 36 per cent.

The Vladivostok Container Terminal LLC (VCT) operates in the territory of the port of Vladivostok. The terminal is jointly controlled by the Vladivostok Sea Trading Port Administration and the Severstaltrans Group of Companies.

In 2006, VCT increased transshipments by 17 per cent year on year to 146,837 TEU.
