Belarusian Government to Consider Grant for Gomel Recycling Plant
OREANDA-NEWS. The possibility of granting Br8 billion to Gomel’s experimental sorting biomechanical plant for processing secondary resources will be discussed by the Government, Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky told media today after visiting the Gomel plant, reported the Official website www.government.by.
The money is supposed to be used to launch the second recycling stage. Now the installed capacity allows sorting scrap paper, metal, glass, plastics and textile and partially recycling it.
The second recycling stage will allow turning out an end product. Sergei Sidorsky noted, the project is part of the company’s business plan. The sum is feasible and is supposed to pay back within four years. Which is why the Government will consider the grant for the sake of implementing the project, said the Prime Minister.
The grant, development of the city transport network and promising city planning and development were discussed at a session in Gomel. At the session the Premier noted, the Government will provide financial support for implementing some of the aforementioned projects. In particular, support will be provided to finish the construction of the Gomel ring road and a Polesie pipeline.
