OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2007. Within under half a year the JSC “Latvijas Krajbanka” balanced investment fund reached the best results among balanced investment strategy funds. Since its establishment the JSC “Latvijas Krajbanka” balanced fund profitability per year was 15,28 % (data for July 9th 2007), reported the press-centre of  JSC "Latvijas Krajbanka".

The investments into the JSC “Latvijas Krajbanka” balanced fund allow getting low-risk return on investments at the level, which can be compared with the income from aggressive investment strategies. The JSC “Latvijas Krajbanka” Balanced fund profitability substantially exceeds the inflation level during the period.

“We are satisfied that our clients more often choose not only to passive accumulate funds, but also to participate in it active multiplication. Interest and demand for investment funds grows, although it is still considered a new type of investments in Latvia,” – says Aleksandrs Makijenko, the chairmen of the board of the JSC “Latvijas Krajbanka” subsidiary company “Astra Krajfondi”.

Investments into Balanced fund are used for acquisition of different types of financial tools – shares, debt securities, and deposits, as well as for investments into other investment funds. The security acquisition is made following strictly regulated policy of fund management, which ensures optimum profitability and risk ratio. It allowed just within under half a year to exceed substantially high Latvian inflation indexes in terms of the fund profitability and to ensure essential profit for the fund participants.

You can imagine the investment division in the JSC “Latvijas Krajbanka” balanced fund as two different portfolios. First portfolio – conservative – is used for investments into debt securities and deposits. It guarantees preservation of the invested basic amount. Funds from the second – aggressive – portfolio are invested into shares, ensuring the long-term capital increase.

Those are European, USA, the Baltic state, CIS and other country markets.
