OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2007. In the end of June theater "Tunguch" under the direction of National Artist of Kyrgyz Republic Jamal Seidakmatova visited 6 orphanages of Chuy region with a play “My friend – my brother”, reported the press-centre of AUB.

The heroes of the musical story – human-size puppets of hare, fox, wolf, cock, pig – showed to the kids a perceptive story about friendship. After the performance kids were dancing with the fairy-tale heroes.

Kids of the orphanages and their mentors enjoyed the performance. “Kids of orphanages are basically kids from socially unprotected families and orphaned kids, who always need adults’ attention and support. Especially, during the summer break. Kids received a big aesthetic pleasure, enjoying the performance”, noted Z. C. Konokbaev, the Head of Chuy Territorial Administration of Education and Youth Politics of Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The team of “Tunguch” theater enlisted the AUB’s support. Now they are planning to visit more orphanages of Chuy region, when the kids return from the summer camps.

Along with the sponsorship programs, support of culture and higher education, charity on a regular basis is a constituent of AsiaUniversalBank’s social responsibility. Hereby, in 2004 AUB took patronage under Belovodskiy psychoneurological orphanage, in which there are over 250 kids with disabilities. The bank's staff often participates in charitable activities aimed at the assistance gathering for orphanages and homes for the aged.
