OREANDA-NEWS. In Jan-June 2007 the tax payments of Volgodonsk NPP totaled 171,136mln RUR, reported the press-centre of Rosenergoatom.

Of this sum, 2,9mln RUR was paid into the federal budget; 154,3mln RUR - into the budget of Rostov region and 13,9mln RUR - into the local budget. 65mln RUR was transferred into extra-budgetary funds.

In the last five years (the 1st unit of the plant was launched on Dec 25 2001) Volgodonsk NPP has paid a total of 1,748bln RUR in taxes, with 563mln RUR transferred to extra-budgetary funds.
