OREANDA-NEWS. Capital amnestied under the state amnesty program reached KZT 245,6 billion (KZT 2 billion), announced Mr. Nurlan Rakhmetov, Head of the Tax Committee under the Kazakh Finance Ministry, at a Government sitting, reported the Official website www.en.government.kz.

According to him, individuals account for most of the amnestied sum - KZT 243,4 billion. With KZT 195,1 billion, Almaty is the absolute leader; then follows Astana with KZT 18,9 billion; Almaty oblast with its KZT 4.4 billion; and amnestied capital from sources based abroad totals KZT 19,3 billion.

Reported earlier unclaimed securities total KZT 13,8 billion; real estate based abroad - KZT 4,1 billion. Altogether, the state budget revenues from those reporting their earlier unclaimed property made up KZT 27,9 billion.

According to Ms. Zagipa Balieva, Kazakh Justice Minister, as of July 12 there were 1 million 490 thousand applications submitted by those willing to benefit from the amnesty campaign.

Over 1 million 367 thousand pieces of earlier unclaimed real estate have been reported, with 979 555 out of them being used for purposes other than residential. Overall cost of the reported real estate makes up KZT 209 billion 414 million 637 thousand. Budget revenues brought by those reporting their movables made up KZT 1 billion 24 milion 374 thousand.
