Russian Post Enters the Market of Customs Brokers
OREANDA-NEWS. On July 19, 2007 Russian Post started to render the service on customs documentation concerning export and import of international postal items. The given service is rendered by FSUE Russian Post affiliated branches – EMS Russian Post and The Main Center for Mail Line-Haul Transportation (MCMLHT), reported the press-centre of Russian Post.
Currently, the service is available for customers in Moscow. The documentation is filled in at the International Post Office situated in Varshavskoe shausse, 37. As planned some time later Russian Post customers can fill in international postal documents in all regions Russia wide. The enterprise got rights to represent clients’ interest in customs at the end of 2006 as Russian Post was included in the customs brokers register.
The service package on customs documentation includes filling in export and import documentation concerning export and import of international postal items, representing clients’ interests in customs in Russia and consultations on customs clearance. The service of Russian Post as a customs broker is available both for juridical and physical persons.
