OREANDA-NEWS. Ivan Istomin, Head of Individual Business Development Department, JSCIB "UkrSibbank": As informed by World Ukrainians Forum, more than 7 million Ukrainian citizens are working abroad, thus constituting almost the tenth part of all migrant workers worldwide, reported the press-centre of JSCIB UkrSibbank.

Most of Ukrainian migrant workers labor in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, and Russia. Notably, osterbeiters are actually subsidizing Ukraine’s economy by transferring money to their relatives. For example, "UkrSibbank" alone paid out over 470 thousand transfers in the total amount of UAH 240 mln. The Bank offers services of such systems as Western Union, Contact, Unistream as well as its own one - "UKRSIB". Western Union is mainly used for far-abroad transfers, Contact and Unistream - from CIS and neighboring countries.
