OREANDA-NEWS. The tender consists of two lots: facilities needing reconstruction and facilities needing major repair.

The facilities needing reconstruction include production buildings and technological systems for managing electrification and power supply, train information and communications systems, and management systems for civil facilities and signalling, centralisation and blocking.

The 60 facilities to undergo major repair include the restoration of the locomotive and coach depot at Gudermes station, the bridge across the river Sunzha and Groznyy station.

The winner of the tender will be the company proposing the best conditions.

Proposals can be submitted until August 13 2007, the tender results will be announced on August 14, 2007.
