OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2007. The Canadian Company Magna considers the possibility of industrial engineering on the territory of the Kama Industrial Park “Master”.

This information was announced by Andre Shenekes, the Company’s Director of Sales. The area of KIP “Master” was chosen because the main customer of the production will be KAMAZ Inc. The enterprise will turn out a wide range of products – from machinery to electronics. For example, on-board computers, all components providing comfort in the cab, front headlights, steering columns.

Magna plans to invest about $30 million into the economics of Tatarstan. The Company develops the business-model of productions and means to make a decision of their organization by the end of this year.

“We hope to establish scale production. We can start with some national market and then develop, ensure growth and by means of it – export production into the markets of other countries”, - said Mr. Shenekes.
