OREANDA-NEWS. On July 17, 2007 OJSC "Magnit" (the “Company”; RTS: MGNT), Russia’s leading retail chain in terms of number of stores and customers, released its 1H 2007 results, reported the press-centre of OJSC "Magnit".

During 1H 2007 the Company opened 116 stores (net) with its total store base reaching 2 009 stores at the end of this period. Preliminary consolidated net retail revenue in 1H07 increased by 45,90% in ruble terms (compared to 1H06) and stood at 42 318,05 million rubles. Net retail sales in dollars increased by 54,47% YoY and stood at USD 1 622,46 million.
