OREANDA-NEWS. On July 08, 2007 the Boeing Company demonstrated to the world the first new commercial aircraft Boeing-787, reported the press-centre of VSMPO-AVISMA.

In the presence of 15,000 guests from all over the world, the Dreamliner was rolled out from the hangar at the production plant in Everett, Washington. The presentation was attended by the government representatives, Boeing partners and suppliers, representatives from the airlines which are going to buy this aircraft, Boeing employees who participated in production of the aircraft.

The presentation was attended by Dr. V. Tetyukhin, Director General of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, and A. Kantor, Deputy Head of Department 51. After the presentation VSMPO representatives held negotiations with Boeing regarding signing the new LTA.
