URALSIB Bank Jumped up on Banker Top 1000
OREANDA-NEWS. On July 12, 2007 URALSIB Bank announced that the London based the Banker magazine, which annually ranks world banks in terms of their tier 1 capital, has published its 2007 poll in its July issue, reported the press-centre of URALSIB Bank.
According to the magazine, this year BANK URALSIB jumped up 420 places to 324. Again the Highest Movers listing is dominated by banks from emerging economies with Russia (nine banks) that moved up more than 100 places. Russian banks still dominate the listing of TOP 25 banks for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) where URALSIB Bank is ranked sixth after Sberbank, VTB bank, Gazprombank, National Savings and Commercial Bank from Hungary and PKO Bank Polski.
