OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2007. LLC IESK-Multienrgetika passes its sales functions to OJSC Sverdlovskenergosbyt. The move follows the decision of the main shareholder of both companies CJSCО IES-Holding. The Regional Energy Commission of the Sverdlovsk Region has been duly notified. 

On July 9 IESK-Multienrgetika and Sverdlovskenergosbyt concluded an agreement On the Transfer of Rights and Obligations under the Power Supply Agreements Concluded to Date (agreements on the sale-purchase (supply) of electricity).

As of now the two companies are guarantors of power supply to users in the area of their operation and are engaged in power sales operations. The merger will enable the optimization of internal business processes, cut costs and reduce service cost for power supply to the end-user. 

The assignment of sales functions to OJSC Sverdlovskenergosbyt will proceed according to the schedule signed by the two companies. 
IES-Holding President Mikhail Slobodin has said that the merger will bring Sverdlovskenergosbyt to a higher professional level in all segments of sales operations and offer still better terms to the user, the main player on the sales market.
