OREANDA-NEWS. The Administration of the port of Odessa has submitted for approval the project of developing the Quarantine Pier container terminal on the filled-up ground on the concession basis.
 
The investor of the project will be Hamburg Port Consulting, which is a subsidiary of HHLA. The representative of the investor is GPK-Ukraine.
 
The deputy chief of the Odessa port Yuri Vaskov was quoted by the Ukrainian media as saying that there was no experience of using the concession mechanism in Ukraine. He added that which in this case concession is optimal both for the administration of the port and for the investor.
