OREANDA-NEWS. On July 10, 2007 the Council of Young Specialists of I.I.Afrikantov OKB Mechanical Engineering has summed up the results of the “Best Young Engineering 2006” contest, conducted among the company’s young engineers (under 30) in five nominations: Engineer, Design Engineer, Structural Analyst, Process Engineer and Test Engineer, reported the press-centre of OKBM.

The major assessment criteria were active research work (degree, certificates), inventions, publications, participation in training courses, conferences and workshops, knowledge of English, public activities and, certainly, professional abilities and performance (achievements, progress, credentials).

The winners are: T.Guryeva (Engineer), I.Korobov (Design Engineer), A.Sokolova (Structural Analyst), I.Karetnikov (Process Engineer) and A.Plisovsky (Test Engineer).

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners have been awarded prizes equivalent to three, two and one average annual salary, respectively, as well as certificates and badges “Best Young Engineer.”
