OREANDA-NEWS. On July 06, 2007, Nadymgazprom and Noyabrskgazdobycha (wholly-owned subsidiaries of Gazprom) have been declared the winners of the auctions to develop the Nyakkhobsky and Verkhnekhudoseisky blocks located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO), reported the press-centre of Gazprom.

The auctions were organized by the YaNAO Subsoil Use Directorate (Yamalnedra).

The Nyakkhobsky block is located in the perspective oil and gas region in the YaNAO southwest, a pipeline which provides gas supply to Salekhard runs 45 km east from the block.

The Verkhnekhudoseisky block is located 100 km east from the Lenskoye oil field and East-Terelsky licensed block, the licenses of which are owned by Noyabskgazdobycha.

The Nyakkhobsky block potential recoverable reserves are estimated at 188 bcm of gas, the Verkhnekhudoseisky block potential recoverable reserves are at 216,3 bcm of gas, including 3,9 mln t of gas condensate and 18,3 mln t of oil.
