OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2007. Open JSC TGC-4 with "Norit" (Holland), "DOW Europe Gmbh" (Germany), Limited Liability Company "Voronezh-Aqua" hold a scientifically - practical conference in Orel regional generation (branch of TGC-4). The theme of the conference was "Actual problems and perspectives of water conditioning development in power industry". In the Program of the conference - discussion of the advanced technologies of water treatment, advantages of the membranous methods of water treatment and its desalting.

Practical problems, concerned with modern utilities of ultrafiltration and back osmosis arrangement were considered at the conference.

The participants of the conference got acquainted with new system of water conditioning on Orlovskaya TPP with using of membranous technologies. Its application permitted to reduce greatly expense of reagents and water for technological needs.

Such projects were realized on Novomoskovskaya TPP and Pervomaiskaya TPP (Tula regional generation), Voronezhskaya TPP-1 (Voronezh regional generation). Kurskaya TPP-1 (Kursk regional generation) is the one in Russian Federation which uses new system of desalt water conditioning for power supply of boilers by back osmosis method.

Reconstruction of water conditioning system is one of the priority directions of the technological policy of Open JSC TGC-4. It was spend 133 million rubles in 2006 for this perpose. Qualitative clear water prolongs the tenure of employment of power equipment, increases the reliability and economy of its activity.
