OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2007., on the basis of Voronezh Joint Stock Aircraft Building Company enterprises the partners on the programme of AN-148 regional passenger aircraft of a new generation held a conference. The event was devoted to the start of production of four AN-148s in Voronezh. The date of final assembly of these airplanes is planned on 2008 and the further production will go on during 2009-2011.

Voronezh Joint Stock Aircraft Building Company is one of the most progressive enterprises of Russian Federation having advanced equipment, skilled personnel and financing. According to existing plans in 2009 Voronezh Joint Stock Aircraft Building Company will produce 12 AN-148s, in 2010 – 18, in 2011 – 26 ones and starting from 2012 – 36 machines annually. During the conference organization of cooperation between Russian and Ukrainian enterprises on serial pruduction of the AN-148 was discussed.
