OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2007. Program "Russian Power Engineering Olympus" is held in the country for the first time. Its goal is further orientation of consumers of power engineering services, Russian and foreign partners, public and state institutions for more active and reliable organization and doing business of the companies operating on Russian market. The Program was organized by Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University), Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov, JSC "All-Russian Thermal Technical Research Institute", Institute of Power Engineering Research of RAN, Russian Alliance of Industry and Entrepreneurs and others.

Prize "Russian Power Engineering Olympus" is a special public award, evidence of the highest professional competence of Laureates in the are of power engineering industry of Russian Federation, Commonwealth of Independent States and among the representatives of thе foreign companies working on the territory of Russia. To enroll in Program "Russian Power Engineering Olympus" were allowed only organizations satisfying the criteria of activeness, efficiency, financial stability, that recommended themselves as dependable partners and attractive for internal and outside investors, clientele and partners. Pre-requisites for enrolment in the Program are high results of activities, good business reputation, quality of client servicing, enrollment in social and charity Programs. In analyzing the activity of enrolled in the Program were considered quantitative and qualitative rates of organization development, positioning in its sector and figures of marketing and staff potential. Also were considered their results and economical significance, compliance of dimensions of activities with ethics of business doing, social role of projects conducted by organization.

Expert Council, including the independent experts, representing the state and entrepreneurial structures, scientists and representatives of professional associations, especially commented on target –oriented activity of Generation Company of Tatarstan energy holding, aimed at enhancing the environmental production safety. In the report by Expert Council it was emphasized that the Company has its environmental policy, the environmental Program for 2007-2009 was developed and adopted. Application at each plant the environmental technologies allowed to considerably reduce the pollution of environment which is significant for economical development of Republic of Tatarstan. Since 1998 gross polluting emissions in air reduced by over twice, water consumption reduced by 40%, water drainage – by 30%, over 90% wastes are recycled.

General Director of JSC "Generation Company" I.Sh.Fardiev was named the Laureate of premium "Russian Power Engineering Olympus" in personal nomination "Manager of the most dynamically developing company".
