OREANDA-NEWS. On June 28, 2007 the 4th annual CIS and Baltic Bond Congress has started in Baku, reported the press-centre of "Alfa" Insurance LLC.

During the conference it is planned to discuss the problems and prospects of the bonds markets of the CIS countries, investment attractiveness and risks. During the conference simultaneous translation into English will be provided.

Roundtables on the following topics are planned: the securities market of Azerbaijan: investment opportunities, international borrowings of the CIS issuers, the CIS bond markets: comparative analysis, investment attractiveness of the CIS debt market, the bond market of Russia, attractiveness of the Russian market for international investors and issuers, the bond market of Kazakhstan, development of Almaty as a regional financial center, the bond market of Ukraine, the bond market of Georgia, the CIS and Baltic bond markets: country surveys (Belarus, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, the Baltic states and others).

The event will bring together representatives from leadings banks, investment companies and issuers of Russia, Baltic States, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, other CIS and European countries.
