OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2007. "Power Machines" ("Silovye Mashiny") is to design, manufacture and supply the 800MW steam turbine K-800-130/3000; auxiliary equipment and a 890MW turbogenerator T3V-890-2UZ. Besides the Concern will supervise the assembly, testing and commissioning of the equipment, reported the press-centre of "Power Machines".

The equipment will be supplied in 2010 with commissioning scheduled to 2012.

The new power unit with the fast reactor of the Beloyaskaya NPP is an innovative project of the Russian nuclear power industry. Beloyarskaya nuclear power station currently operates the third power unit equipped with a 600 megawatt BN reactor facility, which serves as prototype for the new unit. It is also the world biggest power unit with a fast neuron reactor, which generates power and serves the function of nuclear fuel breeding.
