OREANDA-NEWS. On behalf of a host country - Republics Bulgaria, the next session of the Prague Club of the Bern union of insurers of credits and investments from Central and the Eastern Europe was opened by the deputy minister of the finance of Bulgaria, Mr. Lakher Borisov, reported the press-centre of Uzbekinvest.

In the speech he has noticed, that Bulgaria has the big possibilities in inflow of investments as equally such sessions and seminars will be useful to export-credit agencies (ECA) of republics on construction of the future strategy within the limits of strengthening of friendly mutual relations between the countries and to an exchange of experience at ECA leaders and the international organizations.

The president of the Bern Union Mr. Lars Kyolte, in the presentation has noted high rate of growth and positive development of economy of member countries of the Prague club, in particular in sphere of export financing and insurance, including Republic of Uzbekistan. Regarding presentation across the CIS countries following the results of 2006 it is specified, that the Republic of Uzbekistan among the CIS countries takes the third place after Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan (stability of development and high rates of growth is noted).

Within the limits of a seminar on insurance of short-term credits, trainings on consideration of claims in view of concrete situations from practice of various ECA with the subsequent discussion of possible succession of events were carried out.

Also during session of the Prague club, company "Uzbekinvest" had been held meetings and separate negotiations with a number of representatives of ECA - members of the Prague club, in particular, Republics Kazakhstans (КECIC), Belarus (Beleximgarant), Republic of Iran (EGFI) concerning the further development of cooperation in the field of reinsurance of political and commercial risks. Thus, within the limits of extending cooperation of Uzbekistan with Republic Egypt by the results of the state visit of the Government of the country to Egypt, the arrangement on signing of the cooperation agreement with Republic Egypt ECA (ECGC) at following autumn session where a host country the Republic Kenya will be.
