OREANDA-NEWS. July 2, 2007. It is scheduled to begin the regular sea railway ferry crossing between Baltijsk and Ust-Luga in the end of July. This was announced by Victor Stepov, the head of Oktyaborskaya Raiway, during the press-conference devoted to the annual session of the shareholders of Company Ust-Luga.
 
It should be pointed out, that Russian Railway, Rosmorport and Baltic transport systems signed recently an agreement on joint ferry exploitation.
 
According to V.Stepov, all the difficulties are now taken off. It is planned that there will be one call in a week.
 
Besides, today the German representatives have to visit Saint-Petersburg to discuss the route to the port of Zassnitz.
