OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2007. The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the award ceremony of FOCUS RUSSIA EXTEL SURVEY 2007 among investment banks (brokers) and analyst teams, held together with Thomson Financial and Interfax agency.

In the “Power Industry and Utilities” category, the awards were handed by Anatoly Bushin, the Director General of JSC OGK-5. The award for the best analyst team was given to Troika Dialog, while the best analyst award given to Lauri Sillantaka, an analyst of Troika Dialog.

In his ceremony speech, Anatoly Bushin noted that the analyst community is the elite of the Russian stock market. “Analysts’ well-grounded assessments and forecasts are of crucial importance to the power industry, which is now tackling major issues related to attracting investments. Analysts’ opinions are the foundation for the growth of companies’ capitalization and their successful operation on the stock market. OGK-5 has learnt it at first hand”, stressed Anatoly Bushin.
