OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero launched a new charter program for Saint Petersburg - Barcelona route.

The weekly flight between the northern capital of Russia and the capital of Catalonia will be performed on Saturdays with Tupolev TU-214 airplane, a recent addition to Transaero fleet. This airplane offers both Business and Economy class passengers improved comfort level.

TransBusinessLine, Saint Petersburg - based tour operator, is Transaero partner under this program. This new product is extremely popular with tourists. The first Transaero flights to Barcelona are already fully booked.

The launch of a new flight to Spain is fully in line with Transaero strategy aimed at expansion of the network of flights connecting Saint Petersburg and the main international tourist destinations. At the end of May the airline opened a large-scale program of flights from Saint Petersburg to tourist destinations in Greece.

Transaero Airlines is registered in Saint Petersburg. Transaero is the second airline in Russian in terms of passenger traffic and passenger traffic on international routes.
