OREANDA-NEWS. On June 19, 2007 Kazan Motor Show “Automobile in the heart of Russia” started its work and opened for KAMAZ Inc. the summer season of the most impressive and important international exhibitions, reported the press-centre of  KAMAZ. 

Traditionally, what matters at Kazan motor shows is not the number or diversity of exhibits and their specifications, but their purpose.

The perspective model of the sightseeing bus “Kama” on the KAMAZ-4308 chassis is urgent for the capital of Tatarstan implementing the new transport plan on the basis of modern bus models. In 2007 the automobile plant invests in the transport sphere and housing and communal services of Kazan over 500 million rubles just through the leased buses and municipal automobiles.

The KAMAZ-5460-22 artic “Stayer” is a new biaxial long-haul KAMAZ tractor. A perfect match of KAMAZ, Russian and foreign components meets European requirements to this kind of equipment in usability, speed ability, reliability, convenience features, fuel costs with moderate prices traditional for KAMAZ. This is the main competitive advantage of the “Stayer”.

The next four KAMAZ models presented in Kazan are designed to solve the problems of the so-called “old cities”.

The new biaxial dumper developed on the KAMAZ-43253 chassis is a quick and, at the same time, sufficiently high-capacity truck. This equipment is designed for working in the building areas of the city with narrow and crooked side streets. What an extremely urgent and perspective automobile it is! And what is of no small importance – the KAMAZ-43255 chassis can be applied for municipal equipment and other special superstructures installation.

A perfect companion for this building dump truck is the garbage truck on the KAMAZ-4308 chassis of medium tonnage. Its body of 11 cubic meters volume can contain up to 4,3 tonnes of domestic waste.

The double-deck wrecker on the KAMAZ-4308 chassis is an “emergency” for cars in the event of accidents, and also a wonderful vehicle for delivering unsuccessfully parked cars to pounds.

The van on the same chassis is for intracity and suburban traffic. The drivers of Nefis Cosmetics PLC from Kazan tested it and defined it to be excellent. Their conclusion is the following: operation of the KAMAZ-4308 van is especially effective by servicing supermarkets and wholesale depots. In addition, it is very saving: with the speed of 60 km/h it consumes only 14 l of diesel fuel for 100 km. There are 6 KAMAZ models in all, but each of them is not of the common type.
