OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2007. Absolut Bank has received an award from the EBRD as the Most Active Bank in Financing Imports of Russian SMEs in 2006. The award was given at the EBRD Annual Conference which was held this May in Kazan.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Absolut Bank, Anatoly Maksakov: "At the present moment Absolut Bank is a leading bank in the Russian market of trade financing both by the number and by the volume of its transactions. In 2006 the Bank conducted more than 1,000 operations for the total amount in excess of USD750.0mln. The Bank is one of the members of EBRD trade assisting program; its limit under this program amounts to USD100.0mln. This year we plan to continue an active development of trade financing and, among other things, to introduce a new facility for our clients – factoring operations in the foreign markets."
