OREANDA-NEWS. On June 18, 2007 in MOD leisure centre a grand ceremony took place. Mr. Vadim V. Barannikov, Deputy Director General, attended that event. He was receiving the award and Diploma as the best exporter nominee in aircraft building, reported the press-centre of Rostvertol Plc.

The VI th Contest was held by Russian Ministry of economic development and commerce.  Rostvertol Plc was nominated thrice at once: the best industry exporter, the best exporter to CIS countries and the most dynamically developing Russian exporter. It has become a winner as The best industry exporter in aircraft building.

Such an honorary award has become a result of the enterprise work on keeping a mutually beneficial cooperation with the existing Partners and development of new contracts contributing to the market of the manufactured products. For more than forty years the helicopters designed by Mil MHP PLC and manufactured at Rostvertol in Rostov-on-Don are being operated on four continents.

Mi-35 multipurpose attack type helicopters are being operated in more than thirty countries world-wide: in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

The Mi-26T is a special proud of Rostvertol Plc – the most heavy lifter and world champion with unique capabilities which facilitated the negotiations on integration of this helicopter to the European Community of rotorcraft builders.

Along with a production and upgrading of wide range of famous helicopters Rostvertol Plc serially produces a new generation Mi-28N helicopter – “Night Hunter”.

Later these helicopters will replace the Mi-35 attack helicopters which are on the inventory of the Russian Armed Forces at present. 

In opinion of the potential partners the export capability of these helicopters is extremely high.

Dynamic team-work between Rostvertol Plc and FSUE “Rosoboronexport” in the field of international cooperation contributed to the increase of delivered products and rendered services last year practically twice.

All this progress was marked with a Diploma for the important contribution to the expansion of the RF foreign economic activities and development of domestic production.
