OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2007. Over the first five months of 2007, St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill, a subsidiary of Ilim Pulp Corporation, produced 106 thousand tonnes of cartonboard, including 92,3 thousand tonnes of market cartonboard, 8,2 thousand tonnes (9,7%) up as compared to the same period of 2006, reported the press-centre of  Ilim Pulp.

Output included the following amounts of cartonboard:

Uncoated board — 12,7 thousand tonnes, 0,7 thousand tonnes (5,8%) up year-over-year;

Coated board — 21,4 thousand tonnes, 0,7 thousand tonnes (3,3%) up year-over-year;

Linerboard — 56,7 thousand tonnes, 9,4 thousand tonnes (19,8%) up year-over-year;

Testliner output — 1,2 thousand tonnes, 0,2 thousand tonnes (20%) up as compared to January — May last year.

Match box board amounted to 0,3 thousand tonnes, 2,8 thousand tonnes down year-over-year, in line with the 2007 production plan.

Some changes in various production types are due to revision in the sales plans of Petroboard Trading and Knauf companies.

During the first five months of 2007, output of disposable plates amounted to 31.8 million pcs, matching the output of January — May 2006.

Over the period, output of printed product went down 2 thousand tonnes (18,5%) as compared to the same period of 2006, totalling 8,8 thousand tonnes. The production plan was realigned with the current market situation.
