OREANDA-NEWS. On June 06, 2007 the seating of the Committee on budget, tax and finance of the RT Council of State took place in Naberezhnye Chelny. The deputies considered the issue “KAMAZ Inc.’s effective use of property and transport tax remissions for 2006 – 2007”, reported the press-centre of KAMAZ.

Due to these tax benefits KAMAZ Inc. directed the means for implementation of the large scale development program of KAMAZ-6520-II heavy vehicle class production. The increase of facilities in 2006 vs. 2005 is 172,5% (heavy vehicle family), 261,4% (medium tonnage automobiles).

The KAMAZ-6520 heavy vehicle family is the most demanded equipment used in fast-developing economic sectors. This family meets haulers’ demands: the fully loaded mass (gross combination weight) is a determining factor for them by the choice of a vehicle. The comparison characteristics of money and fuel costs prove that the use of KAMAZ-6520 vehicles is beneficial.

Cost-effectiveness of the increased launch of KAMAZ-4308 medium tonnage vehicles is reflected in satisfaction of municipal services’ requirements. KAMAZ-4308 chassis are designed so that a wide range of special superstructures can be placed on them. So, the development program of medium tonnage automobiles is one of dynamic and perspective projects of KAMAZ Inc.
