OREANDA-NEWS. On June 19, 2007 the exhibition of postal technologies was opened within the framework of VIII Strategic Forum "Pochtovaya Troika — 2007" in Saint Petersburg. Its main idea is to show modern opportunities applied in postal sector, reported the press-centre of  Russian Post.

Boris Antonyuk, Deputy Minister for Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation and Edouard Dayan, Director General of Universal Postal Union congratulated 28 companies-participants of the exhibition. Their technological, financial and banking services applied to post will be demonstrated within 3 days in the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications. "It is a pleasure to visit exhibition that shows technological achievements in postal industry, - said Edouard Dayan. – It is the unique chance for all the partners to show new services contributing to development of postal sphere".

Boris Antonyuk emphasized that public dynamic attention to the exhibition shows the interest to post as a whole.

At the exhibition the partners of Russian Post demonstrate their solutions in post-banking, financial, technological and other types of services for postal companies. New projects aiming to improve the services in post offices and offering customers absolutely new ones are demonstrated along with new equipment.
