OREANDA-NEWS. According to the programs the capital investment plan in 21 regional grid companies amounts to 12,270,312 thousand rubles, including investment into the fixed capital - 12,136,292 thousand rubles.

It is planned to transfer 7,596,218 thousand rubles for the technical upgrading and reconstruction of operating units and 4,461,268 thousand rubles - to the new construction and expansion of operating plants.

Investment to the fixed capital will be for the electric grid units (8,786,510 thousand rubles): electric lines (4,484,143 thousand rubles), machines and equipment of the substations (4,301,386 thousand rubles). The companies are ready to transfer 562,367 thousand rubles for the installation of an automated information metering system of control for electric power accounting (AIMS CPA), 934,223 thousand rubles - for the production infrastructure units and 1,238,709 thousand rubles - for other production and economic units. Development works according to the programs will amount to 681,424 thousand rubles.

“First of all, activities within the frames of the investment program are aimed at keeping and increasing systemic reliability and uninterruptible electric power supply to the consumers. - notes Vladimir Nesterenko, Chief Executive of the IDGC-1 Investment Department. - It is significant that against the previous year the expenses on repairs of the equipment were reduced, however, the expenses on new construction, reconstruction and technical upgrading of the operating plants have increased“.
 
According to the approved program the sources of the investment will be the own assets of the company - 9,343,957 thousand rubles, including profits, transferred for investing - 1,856, 773 thousand rubles and depreciation - 6,904,303 thousand rubles. Attracted assets - 2,906,109 thousand rubles - shall also become part of the investment.

The results of the company’s operation in the 1st quarter of 2007 show that the investment volume has reached 1,689,655 thousand rubles, which is 137,5% against the planned volume of the mentioned period. 892,430 thousand rubles were transferred for technical upgrading and reconstruction, 772,534 thousand rubles - for new construction and expansion, including 578,284 thousand rubles - for technological connection of consumers, 19,032 thousand rubles - for purchasing units of the main assets and 5,656 thousand rubles - to other needs.
