OREANDA-NEWS.  Group of companies Medsi LLC, subsidiary of JSFC Sistema (LSE: SSA), acquired 80% in ZAO "MedExpress" and therefore consolidated 100% of outstanding shares.

ZAO "MedExpress" is one of the biggest private medical clinics in Russia. In 2006 its revenue reached $18,5 mln.

Sistema's medicine business division consists of Medsi, Medsi II children's clinic and VIP clinic American Hospital Group, which Sistema acquired last month. Medicine business division served over 50 000 clients in 2006. Unaudited consolidated revenues of the business division in 2006 is $16,9 mln.
