OREANDA-NEWS. SME’s loan portfolio exceeded RUR 1 bln. In 2006 SME’s loan portfolio increased 4 times, demonstrating 2 times growth from the beginning of the year.

The number of borrowers doubled since the beginning of the year, having outperformed the relevant figures on 01.06.2006.

According to Oleg Skvorcov, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board:

We are not going to stop where we are and we wish to maintain such growth rate of SME’s Loan Portfolio with the main focus on branch network development. We keep on providing our clients with loan products on more favorable terms and conditions. For example, in May we amended the SME Program two times, we improved the terms of overdraft (the tenor and limit was increased and the interest rate was lowered), we also started to provide our clients with funds to purchase the equipment. One of the reasons of the successful implementation of our business strategy is well experienced team focused on maintaining long-term relations with our customers.
