OREANDA-NEWS. On June 01, 2007 the representative delegation form the Free State of Saxony (Germany) arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny with a working visit. The delegation was headed by Thomas Jurk, Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Economic Affairs and Labour of this federal state, reported the press-centre of  KAMAZ.

The businessmen and politicians from Tatarstan and Saxony met for the fourth time. Their acquaintance took place in May 2006 in Naberezhnye Chelny. A year later in Kazan there was signed a communique between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Free State Saxony. The basic directions and cooperation projects were planned and a working group was formed there.

At the same time the delegation of Saxony met with Mintimer Shaimiyev, President of Tatarstan. There was led the economical forum “Saxony-Tatarstan: investment opportunities and perspective of cooperation for business”. The representatives of the Saxon organizations and enterprises met with the managers and experts of KAMAZ Inc.

The Saxon delegation visited KAMAZ Inc., Naberezhnye Chelny, in its enlarged composition. Joint working groups elaborated the forms and directions of cooperation.
