OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2007.  There have been summarized the results of the Republican contest "Ecoleader", which is annually held among the enterprises of the various economy branches of Tatarstan. Tatneft Company has again been recognized to be an absolute winner of the Contest receiving a diploma and a large challenge cup "Ecoleader" which has now been awarded to the Company for permanent storage. Such a decision has been taken by the authoritative jury based on the achievements of Tatneft in the area of environmental protection distinguished by the annual victories in the prestigious Republican competition.

It is not for the first time that the corporate newspaper "Neftyanye Vesti (Oil News)" has also become a winner of the "Man and Nature" contest arranged for the mass media. The newspaper has been awarded the first place in the nomination "The Media of the Companies" for "The best publication in periodicals" while the TV studio "Time of Tatneft" has been recognized as prize winner among the electronic media.

Both contests: "Ecoleader" and "Man and Nature" are annually arranged by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources under the auspices of the Republic of Tatarstan government and they are timed to the World Day of the Environment Protection.
