OREANDA-NEWS. Uralsvyazinform (RTS: URSI/URSIP) the leading carrier of fixed-line and mobile services in the Urals region, Russia reports the results of the Annual General Meeting. The shareholders approved the annual report, annual financial statements including profit and loss statement, and profit distribution as of FY2006.

The Meeting approved the annual dividend as of 2006 at the below rates:
• RUR 0.026606 per one preferred share payable until August 14, 2007;
• RUR 0.016393 per one common share payable until December 15, 2007.

Overall, dividend payout will amount to RUR 737.9 million, or 35.4% of net profit as of 2006.

The rest of undistributed net profit in the amount of RUR 1,346.7 million is used to increase the equity capital.
